Crossui SPA Builder 2.0 Released

I think I want to upgrade from 1.42 to 2.0, but am unsure about the steps required to maintain compatibility with existing app code. What are the advantages to upgrading vs staying on 1.42?

Please explain the following two lines from the announcement:

1)Remove '_' namespace (merged '_' to 'xui');
2)Move 'NameSpace' to xui.NameSpace;

Please explain without economizing on words. Examples of each showing existing code and modified code would be appreciated.
